LESSONS & CAMPS
Summer Camp is a "best seller" at Heartland Farm. Our camp encourages a fun, safe, and educational hands-on experience for children six years old and up. Students have riding lessons as well as chaperoned trial rides, instruction on many facets of horse care, and work in our stable each day.
Very often campers are out on the farm, learning about everything from pasture maintenance to fence repair. There is a huge craft rally after lunch each day, and various group games. The more experienced horsemen among our campers become helpers to the newer students, and many new friendships are formed.
On each Friday morning at 10:00 our campers put on a horse show for family and friends, giving them an opportunity to show off what they have learned.
Full day weeks run 9am-3pm at $350.00 per week, and half day hours are 9am-12:30pm at $250.00 per week. A discount is offered for any student attending more than one week, and for families with more than one child attending.

Lessons are offered for first-time riders starting as young as 5 years old, up through advanced riders wanting to develop or stay sharp.

Leasing is also available to our students, when they can groom, properly saddle, and cool their horse independently. Rates start at $300.00 per month for a half lease.
