We are so proud of our riders for all their horse showing accomplishments. It's so wonderful that you all come together to support one another and show the real team spirit. Congratulations to our WNE-PHA finalists in 2011. Sam Goldstein and Memphis came in 5th in the adult medal, while Becca Levit and Rainy were close behind coming in 7th. Carly Hall and Justin made us so proud when they won the pre -children's medal final.
We had a great time at the Northampton Hunter/ Jumper show. All our riders kept us very busy and of course made us super happy. We were able to go everyday with at 2 or 3 riders a day and though we were worn out, we had the best time. Beth Guerin and her horse Taylor had great placings in the special hunter division. He was a super star. Sam not only took her horse Memphis in the jumpers and Equitation, but also rode Sampson in the adult hunters. She took home many ribbons in all divisions. Becca and Rainy went after their points and with much success. They won the MHC medal and were 3rd in the WNE-PHA medal. We had many riders in the opportunity special hunter and WOW they were all amazing. The classes were huge and our riders held their own. Congratulations to Isabel Masteika and Bug for their Reserve Champion winning.
Not only were we hitting the long, hot days of Northampton but we were also having a blast at MHC for their hunter and jumper series. Becca and Rainy were doing their thing in the jumper ring coming home champion and always in the ribbons in the equitation and hunters. Courtney Campbell and her new horse Chase were champion in the green bean hunter rider and Molly Krause and her new horse Junior placed in all their classes with strong riding. Kaitlyn Guerin and Baxter showed their smiles in the leadline and were series end reserve champions. We are happy to share that Katie Michaels and Baxter were series end champions in the SS division. Congratulations to Julia Fernandes for coming to her very first show, being very nervous and going home with reserve champion riding Baxter the super star.
This past year has been full of some hard times but overpowered by wonderful times. We are excited to welcome Diana's newest edition we all know as Jamie. He already has made us so very proud being high point reserve champion in the special hunters at MHC with his rider Beth Guerin. He is a beautiful addition to our farm and has so far filled the shoes of our late Hearland's Handsome Henry.
